Welcome to Sharnphilly
Thank you for visiting Sharnphilly Weimaraners and Pointers. For some time now we've been thinking about setting up a website and finally it's here!
Previously we had owned German Shepherds and it was 1990 in when we first fell in love with Weimaraners. The first time we spotted one of these 'silver' beasts we knew it would be life-changing. Our devotion to this breed has grown purely because of the unconditional loyalty and love they return.
As far as the Pointers go, it was the Gundog day at Crufts in 1998 that got us hooked. We went to see a friend who was showing three Pointers. As the benches got nearer, we were drawn to a beautiful and graceful black and white bitch. So nice was this Pointer that within two months 'Pebbles' was enjoying being part of our family.
In the next few pages you'll have the opportunity to learn all about the Weimaraners and Pointers that we have bred, owned and shown. Over the coming months we'll be adding more to this site but in the meantime if you have any comments then why not contact us.
