Born: 14th February 1990
Gemma was my introduction to Weimaraners and the 1st reason I became addicted.
She was from a very different generation of Weims, sharing the unequalled devotion & dependency of today’s clan but being less comfortable socialising with strange dogs and generally being very protective of her family.
Gemma taught me so much about the breed in particular how they think which is immeasurably valuable today when I have a houseful!
Gemma although not featuring in my lines today still played her part by being the one that meant I always wanted to have them around – she is fondly remembered & sadly missed.
Born: 15th July 1997
Lily was a true lady – I couldn’t fault her nature and she is very sadly missed.
Lily was a superb matriarch quietly keeping everyone in order without any need for fuss or dispute.
I once sat up with Lily when she was due to whelp one of her litters, I must have closed my eyes ‘for a moment’ and awoke to see Lily in the armchair opposite calmly cleaning the 2 puppies she’d already had up there..
Lily was a magnificent mother and a wonderful friend – she was taken from us very prematurely and will always be remembered with much love but she lives on in Connie who is uncannily like her mother.
